On Monday, May 2, 2005 Mr. Stephan Jacob was invited by Faculty of Business & Management in “STEP Institute of Professional Development”. Mr. Jackob is currently working as “Project Director” in “Alan Dick Pakistan” and is assisting many multi nationals in telecommunication sector including Telenor and Paktel.

Mr. Jackob discussed “Cross Cultural Communication” as an important aspect on international management practices. He discussed the significant communication & cultural barriers that international managers face, together with problems in ‘communication' that exist in Pakistan . In the question & answer session, Mr. Jackob gave instances from his own personal experiences while working in South Africa , Middle East , Europe , and Pakistan .

Overall, it was a good learning treat for Business & Management students. They enjoyed sharing knowledge and information with an individual who possessed international work exposure. STEP management is keen on working along same lines and excelling students to ‘knowing the art of success!'
